Apple just announced the new M6 SoC in TSMCs N2 and there are some interesting changes. The M5 has 4 S-cores and 6 E-cores while the M6 will only have 2 S-cores, but 4 new M-cores and the same 6 E-cores. So 2 more cores in total, but also 2 less S-cores.
