    Threads app poses lots of interesting questions about cold-starting a network and federation - but the starting point is how nice the app is. It reminds me of using third-party Twitter apps again. Actual craft and care and giving a damn

    For my sins I've been playing with Meta's Threads a bit, and, while it's early minutes, so far it combines the aesthetics of an upscale strip mall with the charm of a Bellagio timeshare salesperson. It's a genuinely weird creation, like a meme incubator crossed with Shake Shack.
