Given that iOS 17.1 is not expected to be released until late October, it's likely that an iOS 17.0.3 update is coming with Apple's promised fix for iPhone 15 Pro overheating. No sign yet of Apple testing iOS 17.0.3 in our MacRumors analytics, but I imagine it's coming soon.

Got another one from @theramalmedia. There is definitely a common theme in this iPhone 15 overheating debacle. Processor intensive tasks such as ProRes video recording or gaming are not causing excessive overheating, but apps such as Instagram and Apple Music are. [video]
