@Neil_Sarg I've personally not experienced any overheating yet (charging with my MacBook Pro's 140W plug). Build quality wise, I'm happy - it's just much more pleasant to use because of the curved edges and the lighter weight.
Interestingly if I'm holding it, the left side rail and a little of the back on the left side is what is the hottest by far... lines up perfectly with the logic board
Apple has always had crazy hot thermals up until M1 was released. Laptops that were so hot you couldn't put them on your lap & more. Apple lets devices run to their limits so to hear people finding the iPhone is hot is no surprise to me. Still...15 is the same as 14 for me

Disappointed to report that I'm having the same display brightness issue with the iPhone 15 series as I did with my iPhone 14 Pro. When the phone gets hot, especially while charging, typical brightness is lowered considerably. It's extremely frustrating.

Today my 15 Pro Max got hot enough that I could feel it through my case. If iPhone 15 Pros are getting too hot to hold, i wonder if that's not enough to disfigure or warp the case...

Another note on the whole iPhone 15 Pro heat thing. Titanium is not a good conductor of heat so you can't really use it to get heat out of the device from the CPU or Battery charging. So that is why Apple is using the glass to do it. So the glass could be hotter than previous...
iPhone 15 Pro Max gets so hot, you definitely need a case. You don't even need to be doing anything intensive for it to get hot 😂...hope your fav YouTubers tell you this
