Most original, ambitious thing I've done since *Apple in China* — a two-part feature in the @FT to answer a seemingly mundane question: from where did Apple derive its manufacturing excellence? https://www.ft.com/... @FinancialTimes @Techmeme [image]

Apple just turned 50. Ever since I used ipad 4 in 2012 to reading the Steve jobs book, I've been in awe of everything they do. The products, the events, the design, the mission statement. It blows my mind that I get to work with them to create the best content for you all. [image…

This April 1st marks 50 years of Apple. I wasn't around long enough to see all of it, but we all know the profound impact Apple has had over the years. [image]

Apple's crackdown on vibe coding apps puts it on the wrong side of history vibe coding is the biggest democratization of software since the App Store itself. But Apple is blocking the tools that make it possible.... the same week it turns 50. The irony is that Apple should be [im…

As Apple turns 50 today, its place in Forrest Gump is always an interesting one. As a prop, it's horrendously bad. Dated 1975. It has markings of 1977 (the rainbow logo and Cupertino) and mentions Lisa, which is from 1983! [image]

I saw Steve Jobs give his last WWDC presentation — and that was when I knew Apple could last for 50 years and beyond https://www.techradar.com/... #Apple50

$AAPL's greatest product wasn't the iPhone. It was the culture Jobs built to outlast him. 50 years in, that edge is as sharp as ever. Thank you, Steve. #Apple50 https://genemunster.com/... [image]

Where did Apple get its manufacturing chops from? The answer may surprise you. Fascinating piece by @PatrickMcGee_ on the tech giant's roots in an occupied and war-battered country https://www.ft.com/...

I think Steve Jobs would be really proud of Apple releasing the illustrious AirPods Max 2 on its 50th anniversary.

Happy 50th birthday, Apple!! Absolutely love this animation on their homepage today. I feel like it's such an exciting time for Apple now. MacBook Neo is a huge hit and will bring millions to Mac for the first time. New leaders like John Ternus and Steve Lemay represent an [video…

WAY better (IMO) than the animated home page, this is Tim Cook's video scrub back in time.  —  Dropped at 3:07a.  Would have been cool to drop at 9:41a (Steve Jobs famously showed that on all the clock faces).  —  But lovely, lovely, lovely walk through an historically great run …

Thank you Apple for 50 years. Like so many Apps people at Microsoft, I came to the company as mostly a Mac person. Here's my first end-to-end Mac App I made in 1986-7 on a 512K Mac for my chemistry thesis. MacMendeleev. We sold it through Kinko's (FedEx). [image]
