Four key takeaways from 2.5 hours of keynote: 1. Jensen says growth in CY27 will be likely above 40%. The Street is at 30%. 2. Tiered pricing on tokens will become more pronounced given they claim to be the “inference king” with Groq powering the smartest tokens that users

It's called groq v3. It's the second chip launched though. One of the reasons groq had one chip over 7 years might have meant a failed design. Looking forward to more arch details. FP8 support seems confirmed, but MX? Int? It's still deterministic. So... Batch 1??
  • @mweinbach Max Weinbach on x
So remember when everyone was saying the Groq partnership made no sense because of the static compiler and SRAM architecture doesn't make sense for Nvidia And I was saying no this makes sense because it gets away from CoWoS/TSMC and HBM bottlenecks and lets them increase speeds

Big moment. You can cross the uncanny valley in video games by using real-time video-to-video AI. You get the best of coherence & control from classical 3d engines, then use generative AI to take it all the way.
