  If you think “AirPods” is a weird name for over-ear headphones: In Apple land, “Pod” = music iPod EarPod HomePod “Air” = wireless AirPlay AirDrop AirPort AirPods.

  @felixsalmon @gruber None of these are actually reviews yet so there's forgetting and then there's needs more time. That said, they are fantastic headphones, far better balanced and with better range than Beats. Top of the NC world.

  @panzer Any idea why it needed one H1 per cup? Obviously, double the compute/dedicating one per diaphragm+nc etc, but I'm just curious in what way two were needed.

  @panzer @MehNitesh2 There's got to be at least some kind of wire connecting the two sides, otherwise you couldn't charge both sides. But maybe it's _only_ a power line

  Small little fact on the AirPods Max spec sheet that should give you pause: Weight: 385g The Sony and Bose rivals Apple's going up against weigh around 250g. Guess that leaves room for AirPods Max Air.
