Intel is claiming its new 12th Gen Core i9 laptop processor can outperform Apple's M1 Max chip. It can also run at up to 115 watts, so I can't imagine the battery life is going to outperform Apple https://www.macrumors.com/... https://twitter.com/...

My main question: will you be able to cook a steak on any laptop running it or just an egg? 🥩🍳 https://twitter.com/...

Apple did not respond to my request for comment. They are probably too busy laughing. https://twitter.com/...

The copium consumption in the replies here is off the charts. If you thought Intel/AMD/NVIDIA fanboys were obnoxious, wait until you discover how braindead and brainwashed Apple fanboys/shills/slaves truly are: https://twitter.com/...

Let's also remember M1 Max chip doesn't have a set TDP so I wouldn't compare the Intel TDP against Apple. I'd read something like this Anandtech article for a little more info on how M1 Max works and wait for them to check out the 12900HK. https://www.anandtech.com/... https://tw…

Many people will claim that they rather have performance over battery life. You really can't have one without the other. If you're battery life sucks and you're always connected to an outlet then how's that an advantage. Might as well own a desktop at that point. https://twitter.…

@elkmovie 1) that Intel processor is going to chew through energy. 115W!! 2) not yet in any products. 3) which gives Apple at least a year's lead; it will have plans at least two years ahead 4) cheaper than buying parts from intel 5) it buys screens and cameras, like most others.

I fully believe this, I think Alder lake is gonna smash M1 Pro/Max in many ways. Not power consumption and thermals mind you 😉 https://twitter.com/...

12th Gen Intel Core H-series delivers the highest performance mobile processors on the planet. The flagship Core i9-12900HK delivers up to 40% higher performance and up to 28% faster game play than the Intel Core i9-11980HK. Details:https://www.intel.com/ ... #AltogetherWonderful…
