Low Power Mode has existed on the iPhone since iOS 9 — where benchmarks showed roughly a 40% performance drop when enabled — but the Mac and iPad have never had a user-facing equivalent.     Missed this from the keynote, but MacOS Monterey will get a low power mode a la iOS. It slows down the CPU clock speed and locks screen to a dimmer setting to preserve battery life. #WWDC21 /32
