@PatrickMoorhead But almost no one bought Intel Macs to play AAA games because Mac GPUs were relatively weak, few PC games were ported to macOS, and many of those that did were poor ports. ie this was not an issue for Intel Macs so won't be for m1 Macs

Also, because we are now a ‘free download’ (as we want to offer pay-once AND subscriptions) any troll can just download Halide and spout this garbage. My no.1 wish for WWDC is to restrict reviews to paying users, just like paid apps. Would also kill scam subscription apps.

So Joseph works at Apple. He used to work at Audi doing cinematography. He said this was the biggest project of his career which he just delivered. This means it's a fully finished video that's being showed off at WWDC. Apple car teaser or announcement?? What do you guys think? h…

One needle I'm hoping Apple will thread tomorrow at #WWDC with the new MacBook Pros: -creators like to play games -the new M1-based MacBook Pros won't play AAA games well, if at all -since M1 arrived, no AAA gaming ISVs have gone all-in -will this matter?

Here's two lists of which games work, don't work with the M1-based MacBooks, according to @PrincipledTech and @Intel. It'd be great to get a list from @Apple, but I haven't seen it. #WWDC #WWDC21 https://twitter.com/...

Here is an amazing web page that exists because of and is entirely designed to deal with Apple's App Store rules. It's the page the Ring iPhone app takes you to when your subscription to view old footage has expired. Click it, what do you notice? 1/ https://ring.com/...

This is a way anticompetition works under the tech monopoly. First force the app maker into your captive market. Second, steal the app. Thanks for the R&D, guys! https://twitter.com/...
