Apple's performance in 2019 across hardware, software, and services is rated and critiqued by a 65-person panel, including writers, developers, and podcasters
@drdrang https://sixcolors.com/... Rob Griffiths / @rgriff : It's always nice when @jsnell's Six Colors Apple report card comes out and I get to see that (at least some of) my opinions aren't just the solo rants of an aging curmudgeon. Strong consensus this year that Catalina is a miserable mess. https://sixcolors.com/... https://twitter.com/... Marco Arment / @marcoarment : “I genuinely fear for the future of the Mac as a platform for serious computer users.... Not one thing about Mac software got better in 2019 and everything that did change made it worse.” — @gruber on Catalina and its heavy-handed security changes https://sixcolors.com/... Jason Snell / @jsnell : Here's the annual Six Colors Apple report card story, in which I surveyed 65 Apple-watchers for their general sentiments about how Apple did in 2019. https://sixcolors.com/... Dieter Bohn / @backlon : Overall the Apple 2019 report card from the panel of Apple media ecosystem stalwarts put together by @jsnell is pretty brutal. Read past the grades to the comments, which on the whole are spot on https://sixcolors.com/...
