Amazon says Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers in the US, the UK, and Canada can now listen to one audiobook per month from Audible for free, to counter Spotify

Amazon said on Tuesday that it will let Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers access one audiobook per month from Audible's catalog for free.

    It took amazon more than 2 years to respond to Spotify's move into the audiobook space. Missed the idea that people don't need to “own” audiobooks. (To the extent anyone can own a digitally licensed work.) Unlike music, it's highly unlikely you will ever listen to it again.
