Apple last year introduced the ability for third-party web browsers to add web apps to the iOS Home Screen, a feature that was previously exclusive to Safari.

While Apple did telegraph at WWDC that many AI features would come later, it is unreasonable to say Apple outlined a roadmap. While my schedule from June is accurate, it required a lot of tea leaf reading and sources consumers obviously aren't privy to. https://www.bloomberg.com/…

@zollotech It does feel like a kneejerk reaction line with how poor the iPhone 16 release has been. Marketing the device based solely on unfinished software. Bit of a shame for Apple to do it this way, but in a few months, it'll all be forgotten

Apple released iOS 18.2 Beta before the final release of iOS 18.1, just like they did with 18.1 Beta before the final version of 18.0. This is likely only because of Apple Intelligence, but it's a good strategy. The more time for beta testing, the better.

18.2 beta 1 is out. Interesting - Apple seems to really want to overlap version cycles for 18.x (likely for Apple Intelligence) obviously don't update
