@benz145 @Lunayian That is a good philosophy. Apple uses it a lot. Hide the complexity from users and UI. Ideally, it should just work. But if you have to give users the power, hide it so it doesn't clutter the interface
@joelbasson @Lunayian Completely different when those things are expected to happen in the background and not while you're wearing an annoying thing on your head. If you go to play Beat Saber so you put on your headset but it requires an updated and then you find it's waiting for…
@UploadVR System-wide LD should've been a Day 1 feature. It's absolutely ridiculous that it's taken them this long (I wouldn't have refunded the headset had all its advertised features worked properly). Better late than never, I guess.
Meta Quest v56 also adds download prioritization. While you still can't see your download queue (add one in Notifications with speed + time left, please!) hovering over a queued app in the library will give you a “Prioritize” prompt, which will move it to the front if selected.
