Gordon Moore once said, “What can be done, can be outdone.” As stewards of his law, Intel will work relentlessly to exponentially outdo what he & Robert Noyce set out to do. He leaves behind a legacy that changed the lives of every person on the planet. His memory will live on.

Today we lost one of the true giants of our field. Since his contributions spanned so many decades, few today realize how enormous Moore's impact on the entire industry was. “Moore's Law” was a vision and a message, not a law, and he made it real. 🧵 https://www.intc.com/...

I once got the opportunity to ask Gordon Moore a question, “what is the equivalent of Moore's Law for software?” His response, “number of bugs doubles every year”. Great man. https://www.intc.com/...

Intel co-founder Gordon Moore has passed away at the age of 94. He predicted Moore's Law, that the number of transistors in an integrated circuit doubles about every two years. He helped define a key era of the tech industry https://twitter.com/...

He deserves to be remembered for so much more than his law, though I feel lucky to have seen him discuss it at a great event Intel threw for its 50th anniversary in 2015. One of our last links to an industry's founding. RIP. https://twitter.com/...

RIP to one of the most impactful humans to have ever lived. Most people don't understand his impact. The entirety of modern computing, software, and frankly growth, is built off the microprocessor and that unlocking new capabilities for humanity on a regular cadence. https://twit…
