The final question of the call turned into a 7-minute Jensen manifesto on how growth can continue. $NVDA My take: It passed the sniff test. Here's the play-by-play: Goldman asked if Jensen still feels good about growth accelerating beyond the April quarter. Jensen took a

$NVDA net income doubled y-y in Q4. The secret: Intel!! “Net other income for the fourth quarter was $5.6 billion, driven by unrealized gains in non-marketable and publicly-held equity securities, including gains from our previously announced investment in Intel's common stock.” …

$NVDA says AI-driven data center capex could reach ~$4T by 2030 because software is becoming token-based, real-time & massively more compute-intensive. In an Agentic AI world, inference will mean revenue and compute directly scales business output which is why he frames data [ima…

$NVDA says “space data centers” aren't economical yet but AI compute in orbit will become viable over time as energy & cooling challenges get solved.  Nvidia is already flying GPUs in space with imaging & real-time onboard AI processing emerging as early, high-value use cases.

Jensen Huang on NVIDIA earnings: “In this new world of AI, compute equals revenues.” $3-400B of annual capex shifting from software on computers → AI. To generate tokens, you need compute. Compute → growth → revenue. The inflection point is here. $NVDA [video]

$NVDA CEO Jensen Huang says AI has reached an inflection point where tokens are now productive for customers and profitable for cloud providers. “The ChatGPT moment for agentic AI has arrived” as compute demand continues to skyrocket. [image]

Nvidia has beat Q4 expectations; stock is up. Revenue for the quarter up 73% (!) from a year ago to $68.13 billion. Data center revenue up 75% yoy. Lots of emphasis on this call on how Nvidia compute = lowest cost per token. Huang: “In this new world of AI, compute —> revenues.”

Been hearing via supply chain friendlies, NVIDIA has secured most of the HBM, making it scarce for competitors. Reminds me of iPod days when Apple secured all the storage as others were trying to compete with them in MP3 players.

The customer concentration question for $NVDA, meaning CSP hyperscalers, is not an issue when you realize the CSPs have to serve the long tail of the enterprise and the ~1B knowledge workers, and eventually the 4+b connected consumers in the world with AI.

Nvidia is the backbone of this market's optimism. If even blockbuster results can't move the needle, that's a red flag. The market rests on one pillar, while “AI replacing software” still hangs in the background. We're skating on thin ice.
