The president signed an executive order implementing 10 percent global tariffs after calling the justices who struck down his signature trade policy a “disgrace.”

As I said, today's supreme court ruling put 321 back and I said, it was just as quickly removed again. The White House issued a new Executice Order today than once again removes the 321 de minimis exception. This one will stick since it doesn't use IEEPA as the justification.

The Supreme Court slapped down Donald Trump today. His feelings got hurt. Now Trump is acting like a crybaby and taking it out on the American people by imposing new 10% taxes and cancelling the de minimis exception for tariffs for goods up to $800.

The new global 10% tariff that Trump just imposed is done under the authority of Section 122 of Trade Act of 1974. This gives the President the authority to impose global tariffs of up to 15% for a maximum of 150 days. Two predictions: 1) Trump will at some point soon find a
