    This will be the fight of our lives. Do we protect jobs at the cost of killing our own citizens? New York decided to kill more of its citizens for now. Someday the citizens will figure that out and change how they vote.

    Outside of bribes is there any reason to let Waymo into your city if you can stop it?  These things still suck, take up large amounts of public infrastructure, and take jobs.  Why let them in until they can demonstrate they're a positive for society? [embedded post]
