Please enjoy this Cheeky Pint / @dwarkesh_sp crossover with @elonmusk . Dwarkesh was most interested in how Elon is going to make space datacenters work. I was most interested in Elon's method for attacking hard technical problems, and why it hasn't been replicated as much as y…

Been thinking about why the @collision + @dwarkesh_sp podcast with @elonmusk works so well in a way mainstream interviews don't - even when they push back and ask hard questions. It comes from A) having done enough homework in the field ( I like @collision have had to learn

I've been visiting with robot video data collectors and merchants of said data. He's buying a lot of data from these people as well, but the 12,000 workers at Fremont are an under-thought-of resource. He could lend a Tesla robot to each one of those workers to take home. The

Elons argument for datacenters in space: - the main reasons are power, scalability and regulations - it's always sunny in space and no atmosphere -> solar panels are more efficient, no need for huge batteries, and cheaper solar panels as they don't need to be protected from

Data has always been the bottleneck for physical AI in self driving and robotics. Tesla is taking two very different approaches for FSD and Optimus. Tesla's Optimus Training Playbook: 1. Build 30k Optimus Gen 3 robots 2. Operate them in a mock environment where they can [video]
