Tesla merger with xAI makes way more sense than spacex merger with either of them. But if stories are correct, then no spacex ipo this summer

A merger between SpaceX and Tesla would instantly create the Berkshire Hathaway of the modern century.  The capital raising and operational efficiencies if both were together are obvious.  If this were to happen, it would also bring us one step closer to having one equity instrum…

We modeled the SpaceX / xAI merger. - xAI holders get 22% of combined entity - $49B revenue by 2028 - SpaceX currently trades at 50x revenue At that multiple, the combined entity is worth ~$1.1T at IPO and $2.5T by 2028. [video]

If you ever needed proof that $TSLA shareholders IQ is room temperature, the stock is surging in after-hours on rumors that Musk wants to merge Tesla, xAI, and SpaceX.  Hey dumb dumbs, this would be another Elon self-dealing.  Elon owns way higher percentages of xAI and SpaceX th…

An IPO is the way private investors can exit. xAI merging with SpaceX in order to go public is not a surprise and is actually something I expected, though I initially thought it would be with Tesla and xAI. That said, an IPO of SpaceX is probably a better way to raise money for

“We wanted flying cars, instead we got 140 characters” Now it seems that the two might be kinda merging.
  • @sciguyspace Eric Berger on x
The reported merger talks between SpaceX and xAI should not come as a huge surprise. If you believe AI is the future; and that compute is the major problem to solve; and orbital data centers are feasible—then the combined company would be a vertically integrated AI colossus.

If true, capex expenditure aligns. SpaceXai narrative aligns. Will be funny to see analysts try to wrap their head around the revenue lines from X, Grok, Starlink and launch though.

Fans of Elon will be happy to buy into the SpaceX IPO and unlike the other companies, SpaceX is undeniably the leader in its industry. Where's the catch? They will price this in a way that makes no sense for public investors buying in the open market. The rumors right now are a

Love him or hate him, Elon does everything he can to avoid losing money for his private investors.  He screwed up the $44 billion Twitter acquisition so bad.  He was about to lose a ton of money for his billionaire “friends” who invested with him so he had it merge with xAI for t…

Reuters reports SpaceX is in talks to merge with xAI.  Over the next three years, I put the odds at: * 35% that SpaceX buys xAI * 45% Tesla buys xAI * 20% xAI remains standalone.  SpaceX and Tesla have each invested $2B into xAI.  My take: Investors would likely approve the deal …

We invested in @SpaceX as an early-stage fund because our thesis was simple — if we fundamentally believe it will be worth over $1T, it's still early. Even at a $100M valuation, you're talking about a +1,000% return!
