This literally says nothing, via intention and cowardice. It's the kind of language Orwell attributed to politicians, when ready-made phrases assemble themselves and prevent any real thought from breaking through.

Hey @tim_cook what are the views you shared with the President? Do you share any particular thoughts on how you felt about his team smearing a dead American as a terrorist who had just been killed by federal agents? Did @StephenM seem willing to embrace our common humanity

After Trump's policies led to two secret police murders of citizens, @tim_cook wants his team to know that he shared “my views” with Trump at a black tie toast to his wife following the latest killing. Cook is pleased to report that Trump indicated he is “open to engaging.” Wow!

There a ton of trailers before MELANIA so Tim had some spare time.

I think rich and powerful people will often stoop to, say, seeing the propaganda film of an evil fascist's wife bc they think they can have a positive influence just being friends with the evil fascist but that simply isn't true

Addressing employees was the right move at this point. I am just not sure this says much though other than underlining Cook's belief that having the ability to talk to the president is better than the alternative.
