Lot of people have tried to make a snap-on accessory model for smartphones (most recently LG). It never worked, partly because they never had the volume. Apple will. So do we get a real base of third party iPhone-only widgets?
MagSafe for iPhone - accessories snap onto the iPhone. Yes, the wireless charger but also cases, a card wallet...with sensors so it can tell what's connected. Like a case accessory with a cutout for reading the time. VERY neat...so obvious, it was just right there.
Apple, don't even use that MagSafe name until you give it back on the Mac. It was one of the best features ever and saved my expensive laptops numerous times, and you took it away to make laptops half a millimeter thinner or whatever.
