The number of iPads being sold is huge. It is worth putting it in context. (Horace does the best analysis and accounting of Apple's business) 1/ https://twitter.com/...

@asymco @stevesi $430 to $440 for iPad ASP is pretty tough to justify given the current line. You would need entry-level iPad to be 70%+ of unit sales with very few sales going to iPad Pro.

@IDC Spare a thought for Chinese smartphone maker #Huawei. How the mighty have fallen. In Q2 2020 it became number 1 for the first time. But US sanctions have hurt. Shipments plunged 42% yoy in Q4 2020. It shipped just over a third of what Apple did. https://twitter.com/...

. @Apple shipped 90.1 million iPhones in Q4 2020, the largest number ever shipped by any vendor in the history of the smartphones in a single quarter. Remarkable! https://twitter.com/...

Every week about 1 million people are switching to iPhone.

The game of figuring out iPhone unit sales has begun. We have firms saying 80m and others all the way up to 90m. https://twitter.com/...
