  1/ After review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump's channel for violating our policies. It now has its 1st strike & is temporarily prevented from uploading new content for a *minimum* of 7 days.

  Also, not to do this again, but please stop using ban in place of suspension. Ban tends to imply permanence, and this is a seven day suspension. If he gets another strike, that's two weeks. A third strike is a ban. Permanent. Use it then. https://twitter.com/...

  YouTube tells me that although content was removed from it, the official White House channel has not been suspended or been given a strike — just a warning. If further violative content gets uploaded there, it would be eligible for a strike under YouTube policies, I'm told.
