thus far, TWTR has been more aggressive around how to handle election disinfo. So this represents a ratcheting up of the methods by folks at Facebook. Also been told that these measures are “temporary,” meant as a stopgap till there is more stability (i.e. the race is called)

Remember, Facebook knows exactly who started #SharpieGate, where it originated from, and who paid for it and/or amplified it. This must be investigated one day. Deliberate attacks on our election cannot be tolerated. My gut feeling is Zuckerberg tries to swing this thing.

Yesterday was #SharpieGate, today was #StopTheSteal, tomorrow there will be another hashtag that's 12 letters or less and based on a lie or a vague nod to cheating. There will be a bunch of new names until one sticks. They're all flailing attempts to delegitimize the vote.
