4/ I write this very humbly as just a guess: my base case is we bottom $9k.2-$10.4k. And decent chance we quickly resume uptrend, break to new local highs within 2 weeks and that sets off a parabolic advance.

I hope Bitmex wins the case, for our $crypto wild west sake. My green button is disabled for $BTC trading going onwards, for long as FUD regarding Bitmex CFTC lawsuit doesn't get enlightened. 4 Digits likely if no positive updates, IMO. Screenshot source: https://www.theblockcryp…

Today's indictment said that BitMEX took few steps to limit customers even after being informed that the exchange was being used by hackers to launder stolen money, and by people in sanctioned countries like Iran. https://www.nytimes.com/...

CFTC @CFTC slaps @BitMEX for illegally operating a crypto exchange. This is a strong statement by U.S. government that cryptos are a financial derivative and that crypto trading will be regulated. https://www.cftc.gov/...

I have shared the rumors from ex-employees and insiders for years that the CFTC has been after Bitmex. They've been building this case for years. Not great for the space. https://www.coindesk.com/...

Early thoughts on the Bitmex indictment. A. charges are serious, including evading iran sanctions. B. A half dozen other large exchanges are probably at risk of similar action. C. defi doesn't win to this short-term, but also very unlikely to face https://www.theblockcrypto.com/ …
