When Google puts 4 paid ads ahead of the first organic result for your own brand name, you're forced to pay up if you want to be found. It's a shakedown. It's ransom. But at least we can have fun with it. Search for Basecamp and you may see this attached ad. https://twitter.com/.…

Paxton, responding to my question, said initial focus is ads but easily could expand. Responding to Reuter's, he said civil demands went out to Google on ads https://twitter.com/...

50 US Attorneys General, from all sides of the political spectrum, are bringing an antitrust case against Google. This is in addition to the DOJ and Congressional investigations. Very few marketers think antitrust regulation will affect the field in the next 3yrs. I disagree. htt…

A few years ago, I would never have dared dream that antitrust action against Big Tech would be so close to taking center stage. May Google, and the rest of the cabal, finally face long days of reckoning. https://www.cbsnews.com/...

my question remains: What exactly is there at Google to “break up”? The ad unit is the business. Everything else is essentially irrelevant. I'm not sure how you pull a Bell on Google. https://www.cnbc.com/...

It's 50 AGs involved — 48 states, DC and Puerto Rico. Missing are California and Alabama.

A lot of these states have historically had ZERO problem with predatory telecom monopolies ripping users off and hamstringing competitors on a daily basis. I mean Google certainly has created plenty of problems worth looking at, but maybe be consistent? https://twitter.com/...
