    Azure mitigations announced on 1/3/18 are unaffected by Intel's update http://newsroom.intel.com/.... No additional maintenance is planned for this issue.

    This does not affect Apple because Apple's #Spectre mitigations to date haven't used Intel microcode but have focused on @WebKit/Safari. (And it turns out not rushing microcode was prudent in this case. Ugh.) http://newsroom.intel.com/...
