So all 3 of the leading frontier models will not be solely reliant on Nvidia going forward (Claude and Gemini are already using Trainiums/TPUs respectively). I wonder why Jensen is so desperate to sell chips to China 🤔 And what happened to the Nvidia/CUDA stack ‘addiction’?!

Amazon is talking about investing $10bn in OpenAI so that OpenAI can then hand some of that back as part of its $38bn cloud compute deal using trainium chips. This should get OpenAI to what, March? Does all of this get sent back to Amazon? How weird. https://www.theinformation.co…

JUST IN: OpenAI is reportedly in talks to raise at least $10 billion from Amazon $AMZN, as well as use Amazon AI chips for its production uses, per the Information [image]

On November 3, 2025, $AMZN and OpenAI announced a 7-year strategic partnership where OpenAI committed to spending $38 billion on AWS cloud infrastructure. Now, AMZN is investing >$10B in OAI and OAI is going to use Trainium chips. This is all getting very confusing.

OpenAI now turns to $AMZN Trainium... OpenAI making its own chips with $AVGO OpenAI using $AMD chips OpenAI using $NVDA chips Whether you doubt OpenAI or not what this clearly signals is that this situation is all hands on deck. 💪🏻🚀 Sam knows compute along with energy,

BREAKING 🚨 Amazon ($AMZN) is reportedly in talks to invest more than $10 billion in OpenAI, per the Financial Times. If finalized, it would highlight just how dominant AI has become across every sector from Web3 and crypto to public equities and enterprise software. This

As I said on TITV, that small Amazon - OpenAI compute deal smelled like broader talks were afoot... Predicted commerce was part of the story. Watch this space!

$AMZN up 2% on news they're in talks to invest $10B in OpenAI + OpenAI will use Trainium chips 1. Source is Information. So likely fake 2. If true, Jassy heard my calls of financial terrorism and decided to act 3. Jeff and McKenzie are already salivating to sell this micro-pop

Interesting that the $AMZN investment in OpenAI includes Trainium usage. Trainium is definitely not the best chip out there. But it's apparently good (and cheap) enough for some OpenAI & Anthropic needs.

😇 Unpopular Opinion: OpenAI is running on fumes and will promise to use anyone's chips in return for an investment. I hope I'm wrong. Sam Altman has the power to single-handedly hurdle us into recession.

More circular financing. 🤦‍♂️ If this news can't get tech moving again look out. 👀
