    The “small developer trade organization” con job that Apple funds to work against the interests of small developers is hosting an event. Get this — they have named it “AppCon”. A kernel of truth in a sea of lies!

    Apple defied a court order just so it could steal from app developers and jack up prices for users. A federal judge called it an “obvious cover-up” and put a stop to it. This is a huge win for app users, developers, and competition.

    @ZhugeEX @GameOverThirty Appeal will be a long time (probably a year+ would be my guess). Stay will get an up/down vote pretty quick (months) but Apple has to ask for it first.

    Apple filed its notice for appeal in the Epic Games case. The expectation on Wall Street is that the decision to allow apps to freely link out of the app store will be halted until 2026 by a higher court. https://storage.courtlistener.com/ ...

    Apple has just appealed last week's contempt ruling in the Epic Games competition case. Note that they're still trying to get the judgment as a whole overturned, but at least they are aiming for reveral of the contempt-of-court part. Here's the docket entry: 🧵1/2
