Apple launches iOS 18 without Apple Intelligence, iPadOS 18, macOS 15 Sequoia, watchOS 11, visionOS 2, and tvOS 18

Today is Apple's big software update extravaganza, as official releases of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia and watchOS 11 are available for the masses, to go with tvOS 18 and visionOS 2 for Apple Vision Pro.

Hate how Apple has regular users get iOS 17.7 as the primary available update with the tiny button for iOS 18 at the bottom. Have told folks to update today, they all did iOS 17.7 and thought that was it.

Once RCS can perfect photo and videos with iPhone, I think I'm so out of the Apple ecosystem. Works fine for photos on TMo but videos? Nope. Seriously, why stay after that? It'll be nice to not carry two phones around.

The iPhone Mirroring window defaults to “Actual Size”, but it really isn't (at least for me). I'd estimate it is about 80% of my actual iPhone's screen size, and is simply too small. The “Larger” view option is usable.

I don't really agree with the narrative that the wait for Apple Intelligence overshadows iOS 18.0. It's a pretty big update even without any of the AI stuff, well in line with previous years in terms of number of changes.
