  I think Musk bought Twitter because it had become a bulwark against the sort of racist lies that can help propel far right politicians to power. He was hoping to influence Western elections. No wonder he's got a problem with Keir Starmer.

  Experience tracking internet censorship worldwide tells us that banning platforms like @X isn't the way to go. Limiting dialogue fuels conflict. Moreover, such calls cause untold harm to other countries where filternets are used daily to mask human rights violations at scale.
