We can finally talk about! We're moving beyond one-shot queries. It has been one of the high-points of my career to get to design the experience for assigning Copilot tasks in M365. We gonna make AI so much more useful.

So Microsoft BUILD is a developer event and I've been talking and meeting a ton of devs. It really does seem that the friction of porting software from x86 to Arm in data center and client has drastically gone down. This may be a non issue entirely in the next few years.

Great news out of #MSBuild today: We're expanding our integrations with Microsoft Copilot! Users can access LexisNexis tools and legal knowledge, and utilize the Copilot AI assistant in Microsoft 365 to save time, and reduce disruption & context switching. Check out this demo: [v…

Microsoft must have shamed Yusuf Mehdi to change out his Apple Watch Ultra for yesterday's presentation. At last October's Copilot event, he tried to hide his Ultra by twisting it around his wrist. Hilarious. [image]

With Microsoft Copilot, Copilot stack, and Copilot+ PCs, we're creating new opportunity for developers at a time when AI is transforming every layer of the tech stack. Here are highlights from my keynote this morning at #MSBuild. [video]

BREAKING: Microsoft Copilot will get Xbox integration, allowing you to ask AI for game guides, tips, and even search your inventories. “How do I create a sword in Minecraft?” DETAILS: https://www.windowscentral.com/ ... #Copilot #AI #ChatGPT #Minecraft #Xbox

Something I don't see many point out, but the usefulness of an AI agent will be predicated on how deeply you are in that companies ecosystem. This applies to Microsoft, Google, and Apple (whatever they will bring to market), etc.

Microsoft is going to enable Windows developers to build 3D apps on Meta Quest devices. They are calling them Windows Volumetric Apps. The next phase of AR/VR device platforms is gearing up to be interesting as Meta's Quest platform opens up to others. [video]

Fantastic! Love seeing this becoming a new category of operating system and app modality. I love the vision, but love setting meta bringing the ecosystem heat

Slowly...then quickly. I retain conviction in the thesis that VR is, in essence, following a very similar trajectory as the early PC era - and that the smartphone paradigm is the wrong framework to make sense of the space. Growth in the overall install base may be more

The Quest 3 is currently quite far behind the Vision Pro (no matter what Zuck says), but Meta is moving fast and will borrow tech from the Quest Pro.  It's not inconceivable that Meta could lap Vision Pro with a sub-$1k device before Apple ships a new headset.  They are already s…

suddenly you can picture a world two years from now where there's basically parity between the brand new Xbox (Meta Horizon OS) headset and the Apple Vision Pro + Mac ecosystem

Windows Volumetric Apps? I'm wondering why they didn't just use the holographic term used by Windows Holographics a few years ago, with Hololens. 🤔

Here's the CTO of Microsoft saying that the abilities of AI are going to continue to scale for the foreseeable future & exponential growth continues. Since MS is training the models, he knows more about what the impact of more compute will be than almost anyone. Worth noting.

We spent the last six months building GitHub Copilot Extensions to allow everyone to be able to build new experiences directly into Copilot. You can bring custom RAG based flows or multi step agents to the conversational experience. Please take a look! https://github.blog/...
