The real flex would be if the Apple Event was shot on a Mac and edited on an iPhone.

Apple not pushing Final Cut Pro with #shotoniphone and instead mentioning Premiere and Resolve first is very odd.

Alright so yesterday Apple revealed that yesterday's event was shot on the iPhone (15 Pro/Pro Max) They've also now published some BTS, and as expected there's a LOT of gear alongside that iPhone... but there's still a lot to learn here. Here's my biggest takeaways (Thread) [imag…

Quick Take on Apple Event... 1) THEY SHOT IT ON AN IPHONE - I think the whole reason they did this at night was to show off the iPhone footage in low-light. Talk about burying the lead. 2) Black - Want 3) The performance increases are a bit mind numbing. I don't know how a...

Tonight's event was shot on iPhones. That's significant. It was night. Well lit, but night/dark. Shooting Log on the iPhone is no joke. I've been using iPhone shots more and more recently. No interchangeable lenses but WOW does the footage pop. So bright.

Apple has BROKEN TWO RECORDS at the #AppleEvent today. They have shot an ENTIRE Event on an iPhone 15 Pro. They have done the SHORTEST Event EVER. Coming at only 33 minutes. 🤯 [image]

Literally the most impressive important part of this event to me. WHAT. I need Behind The Scenes info so bad. Where'd they hide the mics? How much work was done color grading? How much CGI for the spooky VFX?!
  • @sdw Sebastiaan de With on x
Incredible that this was the first Apple event that was entirely shot on iPhone. It's a pretty exciting time for camera apps, let me tell ya. [image]
