Spent a long time on this @pmarca profile for @BW, especially where he grew up in Wisconsin. Marc Andreessen has a complicated relationship with his hometown, but I discovered another (touching) side of his childhood that has never been told: https://www.bloomberg.com/...

Profile of Marc Andreessen, who seems to be driven by grievance and anger, which are fuelled by stories that are completely made up according to those who knew him and those who witnessed alleged events. https://www.bloomberg.com/...

I find it fascinating that Marc recently called for the National Science Foundation to receive the “bureaucratic death penalty,” despite that same @NSF enabling Andreessen to study mathematical modeling as a kid in rural Wisconsin

Andreessen has been running the same playbook for at least the past 22 years. Claim to be a Dem, but say the party's anti-business positions forced him into the arms of Republicans. At what point do journalists stop falling for it and just start recognizing hium for what he is?

h/t @nitashatiku for her WaPo scoop on Marc's leaked texts last year about how his people from Wisconsin “are furious and not going to take it anymore”

    Really excellent reporting.

Here's the most insightful story yet on Marc Andreesen aka @pmarca - his legendary career as an investor and entrepreneur, and his long strange history of concocted grudges. by @AustinCarr in @BW. gift link: https://www.bloomberg.com/...

Have been hearing both sides of this meeting for years. Crazy how consequential it was given that no one can agree what was really said.

great @AustinCarr piece with amazing pics and multimedia https://www.bloomberg.com/...

My fave part of this @AustinCarr story is the evidently complicated relationship Marc Andreessen has with being from Wisconsin (gift link) https://www.bloomberg.com/...

A deep-dive on Marc Andreesen's rightward lurch, spurred by “grievances that don't quite match reality,” from the incomparable Austin Carr. …
