The Model Hardware Standard (MHS) from Anthropic is excellent for linking AI agents to physical equipment. This will be very important in wet labs. I suggest other frontier labs create such MHS standards. The next stage in agentic AI is beyond the computer: the physical world.
This is an unbelievably important moment. In the same way that MCP incentivizes vendors to build interpretability with AI systems, MHS will drive hardware towards the same compatibility with AI. We will look back on this as the start of the hardware agent revolution.
