Really nice renders from Gurman and Bloomberg here. This is basically the closest look we'll get at iOS 27 before the official WWDC event itself.

This part is gonna make people SO MAD “The second method is entirely new: Apple plans to let users swipe down from the top center of the iPhone anywhere in the system to launch a new Search or Ask interface. (The Notification Center can now be opened by swiping down from the top

You have to salute Mark. He's been doing this since high school and still gets all these scoops. Is there any other reporter with this type of longevity on one company? Apple can't like any of this.

“Apple plans to let users swipe down from the top center of the iPhone anywhere in the system to launch a new Search or Ask interface.” while a lot still has to go right, the jujitsu move here would be to gradually replace most task-based workflows with ask-based workflows at

    1) this is SO fucking ugly 2) I truly cannot believe how they have bastardized the dynamic island after an absolutely brilliant and intuitive debut on the 14 Pro. I kept seeing rumors they were gonna have Siri live in the DI and I just didn't think they'd be that stupid but

“I think the data center boom is a mistake,” said David Stout, CEO of Austin-based AI startup webAI.  “Intelligence is getting smaller.  Data centers won't disappear, but the majority of work will happen at the edge.  Apple made the bet correctly there.” www.theinformation.com/ar…
