Google's Fitbit Air is a worthy, more affordable Whoop rival. For $100, you're getting a very comfortable fitness tracker that easily lasts a week per charge, good activity detection, and more. I even like the controversial new Google Health app Review: https://www.bloomberg.com/…

❌ Gemini Coach loops questions and information over and over Ultimately what's crazy about this thing is I think I'd actually prefer it for the one-time $99 without the Premium plan. It's a great fitness band but the AI coach just gets in the way. Full thoughts on my blog EoW

The Fitbit Air In-Depth Review is up! Is this $99 device a good Whoop alternative? And what if you don't subscribe to Google Health Premium? Both my wife and I tested the Fitbit Air side-by-side to see how it does in both a Free & Premium app setting: https://www.dcrainmaker.com/…

I'll publish something on Fitbit Air and Google Health later this afternoon But I view Google Health as the real product, and Fitbit Air as a data collector to make Google Health work. Google Health is the real product here, and it's pretty great

Also before anyone says “but Fitbit air has no subscription!” Yes it does. You basically need Google Health. I would consider it not worth using without Google Health. It's $10/m with Google Health Premium or $20/m with Google AI Pro

Fitbit Air is amazing! The @googlehealth coach has been truly transformational for me personally. Google Health Premium is included in your Google AI Pro and Ultra subscription at no extra cost. Enjoy! [image]

.@MKBHD has my favorite video on Fitbit Air, Whoop, and Apple Watch. It's my exact thoughts but in a good video rather than 10 incoherent tweets. Highly recommend watching. https://www.youtube.com/...

I do think Fitbit Air and Google Health are great I also think Whoop MG and Whoop app are better One is $100 + $120/yr The other is $360/yr If you don't want to pay $360/yr for Whoop, Fitbit Air is really good! If you want the best of the best, $360/yr for Whoop is better

I've been using the FitBit Air for about a week and I'm working on some longer-form thoughts for later on, but my high-level thoughts right now are: ✅ Light and small form factor is ideal for long-term wear and sleep ✅ Battery life is wonderful. I'm 1-week in and still at 32%

NEW VIDEO - I wore a Fitbit Air, a Whoop 5.0 and an Apple Watch Series 11 for an entire week to compare the data. Here's the review of “The Whoop Killer” and all my findings on the Google Health AI coach: https://www.youtube.com/... [image]

✅ Plugs into all my other health app data like MacroFactor so it has every metric I log ✅ Good auto tracking ❌ Gemini Coach is way too persistent and gives me too many updates ❌ Gemini Coach constantly asks me questions about info it already knows the answer to

This thing kinda slaps, ngl. Well done, @googlehealth. [image]
