    Development of the features hasn't gone entirely smoothly, though. The Extend and Reframe tools don't perform reliably during internal testing, according to several people who have used them.

    The Extend feature sounds incredibly gimmicky. However, the Enhance and Reframe features actually sound practical. Particularly the Enhance feature, if it's anything like Photomator's ML Enhance feature, or Final Cut Pro's Enhance color feature. [image]

    @markgurman Considering that Clean Up tool is years behind Google's Magic Eraser, I had low expectations. Yet I'm still disappointed.

    @markgurman i think it will be powered with google's AI later this year, and apple will probably “introduce” the feature itself in WWDC26, not actually releasing, just like apple intelligence. after they got better ai, that would be the time when it get released.
