Announcing Personal Computer. Personal Computer is an always on, local merge with Perplexity Computer that works for you 24/7. It's personal, secure, and works across your files, apps, and sessions through a continuously running Mac mini. [video]

Perplexity just made a proper secure version of OpenClaw for your personal computer(!!)

Feels like the AI ecosystem just shifted from Nvidia GPUs to Apple Macs This might be Apple's year

If this doesn't come to Windows soon, I may need to buy a Mac mini.

Don't let AI service providers dilute the meaning of “local”. If it can't run offline on compute and data you actually own, it's not a Personal Computer.

We first built Computer as a Slack integration and had every Perplexity employee in the same channel. Our estimate: Computer performed 3.25 years of work and saved us $1.6M in just four weeks. Today, we're making the Computer Slack integration available for all Enterprise users.

This company punches above its weight class. Computer has radically shifted a ton of tasks away from Claude. My favorite use case is Model Council where you ask the three frontier models to hash a squirrelly problem out. Personal Computer ratchets things up:

OpenClaw without the security vulnerabilities. The closest thing we have to Jarvis today for the average consumer. 👏

Perplexity Computer emulates the output of a digital worker because AI uses the computer the same way humans do. Computer in your workspace will emulate the digital output of an entire team or an organization. A macro-computer of sorts.

Perplexity Computer is now available for Enterprise. Computer makes everyone in the company an engineer. Anyone can debug infra, ship PRs, or query data warehouses with natural language. It comes with the same enterprise grade security you get with Perplexity Enterprise. [video]

So take @openclaw - subtract all the setup problems - add access to all the best models without the OAuth headaches - access to multiple agents and build your own - solve memory issues - allow connections to many MCPs and tools. Am I missing something? Another reason to go

This is insane... Perplexity just put an AI agent inside a Mac mini. You plug it in. It sits on your desk. It never turns off. This is not a chatbot. This is a virtual employee that lives in your house and works 24/7. It goes through your files. Your apps. Your emails. Your

the OG grifter AI company they're so irrelevant that they're trying to jump on this Mac mini trend like a cheap slop influencer this HAS NOTHING to do with local AI

🚨 Perplexity just made every AI company look stupid with one announcement. They're shipping a Mac mini that never turns off. You plug it in, leave it on, and it works through your files, apps, emails, calendar, 24 hours a day. While you sleep, while you eat, while you're on [vide…
