I'm expecting this low cost MacBook, new MacBook Airs, new MacBook Pros, new Mac displays over the course of the next several weeks. There's also a new Mac Studio, iMac and Mac mini this year. Huge year for the Mac. And that doesn't even include the touch MacBook Pro end of 2026.

Wow! 3 unique colors for the MacBook, alongside silver and maybe dark gray, like Gurman mentioned. Same colors for iPad 12. Really curious to see which other MacBooks will show up at the end. Either way, it'll be expensive lol.

I really hope it's M5 Max I want it just so I can run local models without that solid 10-45 second wait for prefill to process It unfortunately ruins the experience of the great local models if you are doing anything real time. For async who cares

Woah! Apple announcing an event 2.5 weeks ahead. That's quite rare! Getting rid of all the speculation all at once lol.

It's not an “event” it's an “experience.” [image]

There is no way Apple is going to hold on-stage in person keynotes in three places at once. They are bold but that would just be ridiculous. I would guess these things get announced online and this events are hands-on looks and deeper dives into the products.

Worth pointing out the three colors from the invite are light green, blue and yellow — which just so happen to be the colors Apple has tested the low-cost MacBook with, as I wrote yesterday. Coincidence? We shall see. https://www.bloomberg.com/... [image]

The inclusion of Shanghai essentially rules out Siri, as expected, given the delays.
