@CultureCrave @DarrenAronofsky I'm dumbfounded and disgusted at how far you've fallen. You've made incredible works in your career. Mother!, The Wrestler, The Whale, Black Swan, to name a few. Film of astounding quality, profoundly human works of art. You're abandoning the craft …

What a waste of time and effort and important resources and the environment and creativity. That too from someone like #DarrenAronofsky. Depressing stuff. #AI

The delta between the AI content you typically see on X and what a true storyteller like Darren Aronofsky manages to produce with the same tools is truly insane. Trailer for his new weekly series about the year that shaped a nation called ‘On This Day...1776’ Full ep below [video…

Okay yeah, I just turned from one of Aranofsky's biggest defenders into his biggest hater, fuck you and your goddamn AI slop.

those actors need to be booted from SAG, not even kidding

@CultureCrave This look awful. It has that weird uncanny valley ai sheen on it as usual. Ai also always has boring, predictable camera movements. Slow rotations and pans every time. I see the standard ai dead eyed line deliveries, are present as well.

Is this the beginning of AI generated movies?  Funny how Aronofsky's company describe their objective as “helping people” tell stories.  —  www.primordialsoup.ai/about [embedded post]

What a marvelous way to capture one of the greatest of humanity's struggles by telling its story using the easiest and least human method possible.  [embedded post]

I'm somewhat addicted to “How this movie got made” podcasts so I am often astounded how often Aranofsky's name comes up when listing “directors considered for <blockbuster>” and wonder how/why he didn't sell out and get that Wolverine Origins money?  —  homie was banking credibil…

This is one of the more technically accomplished AI videos I've seen, in a way that shows some of what might be exciting about the tech in a vacuum, but, like, it's just not able to do stuff like this yet?  It's so obviously a series of wax figurines that have come to life? [embe…

I just...it's like the just didn't want to bother making an actual animated series?  Yes, there's actors, which is good, but otherwise...just no.  —  This is exactly what people were worried about - replacing actors altogether.  Or in this case specifically, animators.  —  Down. …

OFC its not enough for Darren Aronfsky to have plagarized one of the greatest filmmakers Satoshi Kon and make millions doing so.  Now he gets to plagarize so many more with AI “animation” slop thx to Time Studios  —  variety.com/2026/digital...

Well, now we know that there is no one in Darren Aronofsky's life who can tell him, “Darren, don't do this.  This is a terrible idea.  The sort of people who actually like your films are going to curse your name for doing this.”
