Clawdbot is the first time I really thought AI would change everything. Still early days for me, but one setup that's surprisingly useful: I have it running on a spare Mac Mini as my “background dev + life admin” agent, connected mainly via Telegram (quick from phone) and

Fuck it, @clawdbot tips and tricks thread, stream of consciousness style. Every time I learn something, I'll add to this thread Because while it's super hypey and amazing, it's still brittle as fuck, and there are rough edges all over. If this helps someone, amazing [image]

Deployed @clawdbot in under 5 minutes on AWS free tier. Open source personal AI. Full system access. Interfaces through WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram. People are rigging it to their Ray-Bans for real-time price comparisons. One command. That's it. [video]

Despite any early rough edges with Clawdbot, this is obviously how operating systems will look in a few years. You just talk to it.

the Clawd hype is exposing something bigger... the AI ecosystem runs on manufactured FOMO right now every single day: “wow this is insane” “this changes everything” “if you're not using this, you're falling behind” and you're drowning in your own timeline, paralyzed by choice

why @clawdbot is nuts: 1. your context and skills live on YOUR computer. not a walled garden and you can switch models with one command 2. it's open source so you're not paying anyone for insane value 3. it has a growing community building skills for it - this is compounding rn

You should be setting up clawdbot. Everyone's watching Claude Max and ChatGPT Pro compete for $200/month, and a free open source project running on your own hardware just lapped them both. The architecture explains why. Clawdbot runs a local gateway on port 18789 that sits

Clawd Bot feels like the “ChatGPT moment” for personal assistant AI, and it's about to add to the already high demand for RAM and CPUs on top of API AI data center usage. We are already in short supply in terms of memory, GPUs, CPUs, and advanced packaging, and here comes a

Clawdbot is cool but is not doing anything miraculous. It is, when you look under the hood, a bunch of connected APIs. This is powerful, but important to understand: Almost everything Clawdbot is doing can be done several other ways, sometimes easier. Experiment and tinker!
