  Ok so sounds like iPhone 14 will not have a SIM card tray. At all. e-sim only

  I'm sorry I can't get over this. So first it was the headphone jack, Apple just made that a thing and it was a big pain for a bit. Now no SIM card so if you're traveling, you're forced to pay for international roaming on your eSIM from US carriers?! #AppleEvent

  No physical sim cards on any iPhone 14 model sold in the US — so I guess Apple thinks people from 🇺🇸 never travel(?) because eSims are not available (at all) in a huge number of countries around the world. EU models: eSim + physical sim China models: Dual physical sim

  The removal of a SIM card is a pretty big deal beyond just changing phones. Going overseas and popping in aa cheap local SIM just got a lot harder. I figure @saschasegan will lay it all out.
