Wait a sec, will Intel Unison support screen mirroring? The announcement doesn't list it as a feature. https://www.intel.com/... https://twitter.com/...

Oh good, Intel's new 13th gen chips need more power...i7/i9 need 253 watts, up from 241 of last gen.

A number of interesting things from Intel's Innovation keynote but the aggressive pricing in 13th gen chips and Arc GPUs stood out most to me.

From Intel MJH: The workstation group transitioned from DCAI to CCG 9 months ago. Institutional changes are happening, they recognize that there needs to be a family of workstation products. They have customers with demand, says ‘give us time to showcase what we can do’. #IntelON

Absolutely impressive. Intel — while remaining at a + version of the infinitely maligned 10nm node — has made a huge efficiency job on ADL -> RPL, whereas AMD went firehouse even with N7 -> N5 on Ryzen 7000 (+~60% power for +~45% perf). Congrats to Intel silicon gangsters! ❤️💋 ht…

Intel claims over 50 processors as part of the 13th-gen family. But there will only be limited volumes of 6+GHz CPUs, and those are coming next year.

oh this pricing is *aggressive.* this is very, very interesting against the $700 ryzen 7950x. it's almost like ... competition is ... good? https://twitter.com/...

Intel 13th Gen ‘Raptor Lake’ Desktop Processors are here. Up to 5.8GHz (or 8.0GHz for super extreme OC) and 24-cores, it's even more impressive than 12th Gen. Here's what you need to know and when you can get them: https://www.windowscentral.com/ ...

Intel is officially announcing its 13th Gen desktop CPUs today, led by the $589 Core i9-13900K. These new processors will launch on October 20th, with promises of up to 15% better single-thread perf and 41% multi-thread perf. Full details here: https://www.theverge.com/... https:…
