Sources: Twitter starts cutting an unspecified number of contractors in various fields, including content moderation, real estate, marketing, and others
After laying off half its staff earlier this month, Twitter on Saturday started culling its vast ranks of contract staff, sources confirmed to Axios.

Contractors aren't being notified at all, they're just losing access to Slack and email. Managers figured it out when their workers just disappeared from the system. They heard nothing from their leaders
