Coinbase shut down their affiliate program and are getting rid of CoinBase pro. Recent history would suggest there could be trouble ahead for CB so tread lightly. If Coinbase were to go insolvent, this would break crypto the crypto space like we have never seen before.

A number of people have asked me how Coinbase wins in this environment, and turns it into an opportunity for growth. Here's my answer:

Coinbase just shut down their entire affiliate program. This is a MAJOR red flag. I fear that a liquidity crisis is on the horizon.

The likelihood of this ever relaunching is very unlikely. https://twitter.com/...

Coinbase paused their affiliate program. Twitter thinks it's a 🚩 to something bigger... My guess is much more benign After the recent layoffs they are focusing marketing & don't have the bandwidth to manage their program (esp fraud component) https://twitter.com/...

Looks like the talking heads are really making the affiliate = insolvency case rather than just another cut in addition to layoffs as coinbase licks it's wounds from a very unprofitable and expensive NFT marketplace and crypto downturn https://twitter.com/...

Lol, talk about a foolish interpretation. @Coinbase is the most trusted crypto exchange for a reason. Anyone can look at the balance sheet since it's a public company, and will see billions in cash sitting there. https://twitter.com/...

The money of the masses has dried up and the influencers who facilitated massive transfers of wealth into Coinbase have been canned. It's a fucking scam and the SEC is just letting it happen. Pathetic. https://twitter.com/...
