This is a huge @GooglePlay policy update - older apps that haven't received updates recently are going to disappear from the Play Store soon and won't be installable anymore. Presumably, sideloading them will still work fine. https://android-developers.googleblog.c om/ ...

By Nov. 1, 2022, the latest OS version will be Android 13 (API level 33). Apps that target API level 29 or lower won't show up in search queries or be installable via Google Play for “new users” with devices running an OS version that's newer than the app's target.

This is HUGE. Suddenly, a lot of un-updated apps will become invisible/unavailable to many users. Power users can still sideload these apps, but most users install apps through first-party app stores like Google Play.
