Gabe Newell on NFTs and Steam's ban on NFT games is pretty incredible. Read the whole answer, but here's a blunt excerpt “The people in the space, though, tend to be involved in a lot of criminal activity and a lot of sketchy behaviours.” https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/ ...

Read our full interview with Valve's Gabe Newell. We talk Steam Deck, crypto risks, why the PC industry “won't tolerate” closed platforms and more - https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/ ... https://twitter.com/...

One of many cool things that'll fit in a FAQ but didn't make it into the review: The Steam Deck saves some power when idle by not redrawing the Steam UI. When you're just sitting on the homescreen, it's running at 0fps (though the screen does still refresh).

ok it's probably not the Year of the Linux Gaming Handeld but maybe it will be in a couple generations here's @StarFire2258's review of the Valve Steam Deck, a buggy, unfinished system with lots of potential https://www.theverge.com/...

The Steam Deck 3.0 is the version of this I want and it really sounds like waiting for that is worth it, unless you're a diehard PC gaming / emulator / Linux enthusiast. https://twitter.com/...

here's our Steam Deck review from @StarFire2258. It's powerful high-quality hardware, with infinitely customizable controls for PC games. Unfortunately it has unfinished and buggy software, and the noisy fan almost never stops whining. Review here: https://t.co/9OlU7kh519 https:/…

The Steam Deck isn't done. It's a mess. I love it anyhow. I'm buying one. Why? It's groundbreaking. https://www.theverge.com/... https://twitter.com/...
