Activision Blizzard did not respond to workers' request for recognition of a union formed by quality assurance testers at Raven Software, the workers said Tuesday evening.

Raven quality assurance testers were told in meetings yesterday with studio head Brian Raffel and HR that they would be moved to different departments across the studio. Labor experts told me this could be a sign of management trying to dilute union support.

Activision said it “tried to find a mutually acceptable solution with the CWA that would have led to an expedited election process. Unfortunately, the parties could not reach an agreement.” Expect @CWA, @ABetterABK and @WeAreGWA to respond.

Wilma Liebman, former chairman of the National Labor Relations Board under former president Barack Obama, said that Activision Blizzard management could be trying to dilute support for the union by moving QA testers around the studio.
